Biological Therapy for Cancer
Biological therapy has many names, including "immunologic
therapy," "immunotherapy," and "biotherapy."1
Biological therapy uses the body's immune system
to help kill cancer cells. Types of biological therapy
include the following:2
- Interferon
- Interleukin
- Cytokines
- Vaccines
In addition to biological therapy, chemotherapy is
